Abstract: (IOP)
We study the quantum dynamics of a particle interacting harmonically with conical singularities that physically correspond to either a cosmic string, a global monopole, a magnetic flux string or a screw dislocation, by solving the corresponding Schr?dinger equations. Exact expressions for the energy eigenfunctions and eigenvalues are found.
