Abstract: (Elsevier)
An experimental study was carried out for J / ψ production in a two-photon process using the VENUS detector at the TRISTAN e + e − collider. The study was based on 357 pb −1 data at an average e + e − center-of-mass energy of 58 GeV. No significant signal was observed, and the upper limit of the production cross section was obtained.- electron positron: colliding beams
- exchange: two-photon
- photon photon: inclusive reaction
- J/psi(3100): photoproduction
- J/psi(3100): leptonic decay
- mass spectrum: (positron electron)
- photon: resolved
- angular distribution
- transverse momentum: spectrum
- channel cross section: upper limit
