Abstract: (Elsevier)

We have considered both theoretical and experimental evidence for the existence of a lepton (analogous to the muon or electron) whose mass is greater than the muon. We find that theory cannot exclude such a particle. Presently available data show that such a lepton must be heavier than the kaon.
