Abstract: (Elsevier)
From fixed- t dispersion relations we derive a set of integral equations for the electroproduction partial wave amplitudes. The kernels which couple the different equations are calculated explicity. The calculation is made possible with reasonable amount of labour by using parity conserving helicity amplitudes and by taking advantage of the MacDowell reflection symmetry. We are able to separate the kernels explicity into a simple singular diagonal part and a complicated remainder which is regular in the physical region. Care is taken of the fact that the conventional relativistic amplitudes A 2 and A 5 contain a kinematic pole at t = μ 2 . A method for solving the equations is briefly discussed.
