Neutrino flux predictions for galactic plerions

Abstract: (arXiv)
We consider a class of plerions that have been detected in the TeV range, and investigate the possibility that the emission is due to \pi^0 decay. From the TeV flux we derive what is the expected \nu flux at Earth and find that this is likely to exceed the detection threshold of the upcoming km^2 neutrino detectors.- cosmic radiation: particle source
