Abstract:
In this talk I review briefly theoretical models and ideas on quantum gravity approaches entailing CPT violation. Then, I discuss various phenomenological tests of CPT violation using neutrinos, arguing in favour of their superior sensitivity as compared to that of tests using other particles, such as neutral mesons, or nuclear and atomic physics experiments. I stress the fact that there is no single figure of merit for CPT violation, and that the conclusions on phenomenological sensitivities drawn so far are highly quantum-gravity-model dependent.- talk: Venice 2003/12/03
