The Kopylov-Podgoretsky-Cocconi formulation is applied to semi-inclusive distributions of three negative pions in the central region. The presently available data at 205 GeV/ c are reasonably described by the recently reported values of the radius R and depth cτ of a fire ball in this formulation.
