Abstract: (AIP)
Within the one meson exchange and Regge models we study ω‐meson photoproduction at energies above the s channel resonance region. Here the vector meson photoproduction is dominated by exchanges in the t channel and free parameters of the meson exchange contribution can be fixed explicitly by available data. Thus, at the resonance region the t channel background might be separated from the contribution which might come from baryonic resonances coupled to ω‐meson. Furthermore, we investigate different model prescriptions for the ωNN vertex function by imposing gauge invariance as well as crossing symmetry. We show high precision measurements at small |u| provide an access to ωNN vertex. Our predictions are in reasonable agreement with the results from CLAS Collaboration obtained recently at Jefferson Laboratory.- 13.60.Le
