Abstract:
We measure the branching fraction and the CP-violating asymmetry of B0Ks0π0B^{0}\to K_{s}^{0}\pi^{0} decays with 227 million Υ(4S)BBˉ\Upsilon(4S)\to B\bar{B} events collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+ee^+e^- collider at SLAC. We obtain a branching fraction B(B0K0π0)=(11.4±0.9±0.6)×106{\cal B}(B^{0}\to K^{0}\pi^{0}) = (11.4 \pm 0.9 \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-6} and CP-violating asymmetry parameters CKs0π0=0.06±0.18±0.03C_{K_{s}^{0}\pi^{0}} = 0.06 \pm 0.18 \pm 0.03 and SKs0π0=0.350.33+0.30±0.04S_{K_{s}^{0}\pi^{0}} = 0.35^{+0.30}_{-0.33} \pm 0.04, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic.
