Abstract: (Elsevier)
The reactions γ p → K + Λ and γ p → K + Σ o are analysed in the low and intermediate energy range with the help of a new isobaric model which includes Born terms and s - and u -channel resonances only. The results are discussed in terms of the g Λ KN and g Σ KN coupling constants. The values −12.7 〈~ g Λ KN 〈~ −8.5 and and 1.3 〈~ g Σ KN 〈~ 2.0 are favoured.
