Abstract:
We discuss the physical aspects of a resonance dominance model of inelastic electron and neutrino scattering and summarize its main predictions. We stress analogies with the electroexcitation of nuclei and discuss possible relations with the quark-parton models. We investigate the possibility of a breakdown of scaling as a consequence of changes in the form of the baryon spectrum and suggest a way of testing it experimentally.References(3)
