Abstract: (AIP)
VERITAS (Very Energetic Radiation Imaging Telescope Array System), is one of a new generation of TeV gamma‐ray observatories. The current status of its construction is described here. The first two telescopes and cameras have been completed and meet the design specifications; the full array of four telescopes could be operational by the end of 2006.- 98.70.Rz
