Abstract: (APS)
The symmetric quark model is used to provide an explanation of the S- and P-wave non-leptonic hyperon decays. The current-algebra approach, applied to the current-current weak Hamiltonian constructed of Bose-type quark fields, leads to a remarkable agreement with experiment.- hyperon: nonleptonic decay
