Abstract: (Elsevier)
We estimate the radiative corrections to e + e − → μ + μ − for several experimental situations. In particular, we discuss the asymmetry about 90° of the muon differential cross section and compare this to weak neutral current asymmetry predictions. The differences between this work and precious estimates lie in the inclusion of 1) polarized beam effects, 2) an exact calculation of the two-photon channel, and 3) and improved soft-photon treatment.- electron positron: interaction
