Abstract: (Elsevier)
(N ∗ Nγ) couplings for resonances in the first, second, and third resonance region are determined in a continuous-energy partial wave analysis of single-pion photoproduction off protons and neutrons using fixed- t dispersion relations. Several couplings are determined for the first time. Most results, especially for the principal resonances, agree well with the predictions of the quark model, but the P 11 (1470), on its present unmixed multiplet assignment, disagrees.- photon p: interaction
