Abstract: (Elsevier)
Perturbative QCD is used to calculate the diffractive dissociation of a photon into quark-antiquark jets, γ p → q q p , arising from the direct coupling of the real photon to q q pairs. The general features of the reaction can be understood without detailed computation, although specific numerical predictions are made.- PHOTON P: INELASTIC SCATTERING
