Some Nuclear Lifetimes in O-18, F-18, and F-20

Abstract: (APS)
The Doppler-shift attenuation method was used in conjunction with O16 and O18 bombardment of tritium targets to measure the mean lives of five levels in O18, F18, and F20. The results are [nucleus, Ex (keV), τ (psec)]: [O18, 3632, 1.45 ± 0.25]; [F18, 1701, 1.16 ± 0.12]; [F20, 984, 2.30 ± 0.25]; [F20, 1309, 1.45 ± 0.25]; and [F20, 1971, 1.40 ± 0.40].References(1)
