Abstract: (Elsevier)

From an approach to multiparticle production in which clusters of hadrons are emitted, the formalism is developed for an analysis of rapidity correlations in the central region at fixed multiplicity. Predictions are given for multiplicity, energy, and rapidity dependence of correlation functions.
