Abstract: (APS)
Spontaneously broken gauge symmetry at finite temperature is studied. By introducing a temperature-dependent mass on the mass shell of a particle at zero temperature, we show that the mass in the gauge theory can be gauge independent at any temperature, thus solving a previous puzzle posed by Dolan and Jackiw and by Weinberg.- GAUGE FIELD THEORY
