Abstract: (Elsevier)
A representation for the baryons and bosons is suggested, based on the Lie algebra of the 3-dimensional traceless matrices. This enables us to generate the strong interactions from a gauge invariance principle, involving 8 vector bosons. Some connections with the electromagnetic and weak interactions are further discussed.References(11)
