Abstract: (Elsevier)
Three-dimensional QCD is examined using Monte Carlo calculations with particular emphasis on the comparison with the four-dimensional theory. It is found that strong coupling expansions and weak coupling limits determine the essence of the physics, since they both extend to the critical coupling in perfect agreement with the numerical results. The junction between the two limits at the critical coupling is remarkably smooth.- QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS: THREE-DIMENSIONAL
