Deadline on Jun 30, 2015
Job description:
We are opening a junior professorship (W1) in the field of theoretical astroparticle physics. Recognized expertise in dark matter models and the interpretation of cosmic rays is particularly welcome. The Junior professorship will be tenured (W2) after a successful evaluation. The official advertisement and instructions for application are available at

http://www.rwth-aachen.de/global/show_document.asp?id=aaaaaaaaaamtfje

The new professor will join the Institute of Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology (Theoretische Teilchenphysik und Kosmologie, TTK) and extend the new group of cosmology and astroparticle physics of Pr. Julien Lesgourgues. He/She will be in close contact with other theorists, and in particular with the group of Pr. Michael Krämer, studying BSM physics and Dark Matter models. He/She will be strongly encouraged to interact also with the groups of experimental astroparticle and particle physics (IB, IIIA, IIB) involved for instance in AMS, Auger, IceCube, etc. Information on these different groups can be found at
