Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD position to work in ATLAS experiment under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Kar at the University of Witwatersrand. The student is expected to work on jet substructure based measurements or searches. The position will be based at Johannesburg, but trips to CERN will be possible, subject to availability of funding. Working knowledge of C++/Python and HEP softwares will be beneficial, although not essential.
