Abstract: (Elsevier)
A renormalized supercurrent is constructed for the massive and massless supersymmetric gφ 3 model of Wess and Zumino. Its pivotal position in the study of the superconformal group is demonstrated. All anomalies occurring in the superconformal currents' Ward identities are shown to be directly related to the Callan-Symanzik functions β and γ. These turn out to be mass independent under suitable off-shell normalization conditions.- FIELD THEORY: SUPERSYMMETRY
