Abstract: (Elsevier)
We propose a possible modification of the Kopylov-Podgoretsky-Cocconi (KPC) formulation. Adopting the model where both coherent and incoherent sources coexist in a disk with radius R , we obtain the following relation ( N −− is the number of pairs of two negative pions): N −− /N BG ={1+[I 2 (x)+2γI(x)]/(1+γ) 2 [1+(cτq 0 12) 2 ]} . Here I(x)= 2J 1 (x) x , x = q T · R , and q 12 0 = p 10 − p 20 . γ is the ratio of the average multiplicity from the coherent source to that from the incoherent source, i.e., γ= n ̄ c n ̄ in . Comparisons with present data are made.- HADRON HADRON: INTERACTION
