Abstract: (IOP)
Fundamental low-energy parameters determined by coupling of the bound-state pion to quarks are computed using covariant as well as light-plane formalisms. Complete consistency is found among the various formalisms and consistency to order 10% with experimental data is found for fpi approximately=93 MeV, Fpi gamma gamma approximately=-( alpha / pi )fpi and Fv(0)=1. Consequently, the bound-state pion can be described accurately in the low-energy region as a pure quark-antiquark state.- PI: MODEL
