Abstract: (Elsevier)
The soft-pion skyrmion effective lagrangian is constructed so as to satisfy all soft-pion threshold threorems. As an application, the strong CP -violating soft-pion nucleon coupling constant is calculated, which is found to contribute 1.2 × 10 −16 θ e cm to D n , the electric dipole moment of the neutron.
