We consider QCD effects on systems when and , where and mw are the masses of the top quark and the charged W bosons, respectively. They are markedly different from naïve extrapolations of formulae valid for . We then apply our results to the ARGUS mixing and obtain a lower bound .- B0 anti-B0: mixing
