Abstract: (WSP)
We consider QCD effects on B0Bˉ0B^0 - \bar{B}^0 systems when mtmwm_t^* \cong m_w and mtmwm^*{}_t \gg m_w, where mtm_t^* and mw are the masses of the top quark and the charged W bosons, respectively. They are markedly different from naïve extrapolations of formulae valid for mtmwm_t^* \ll m_w. We then apply our results to the ARGUS Bd0Bˉd0B_d^0 - \bar{B}_d^0 mixing and obtain a lower bound mt>55 GeVm_t^* > 55~{\rm GeV}.
