Abstract: (Springer)
We calculate the QCD corrections to the ΔS=2 and ΔB=2 transition amplitudes for the casemt≫mw and extrapolate the results tomt≲mw, where they join smoothly with the low mass calculations,mt≪mw. We present explicit formulas for the corrections with numerical results summarized in tables and figures and compare them with earlier calculations. We arrive at a QCD corrected effective Hamiltonian which must hold for all ranges ofmt.- weak interaction: transition
- transition: weak interaction
- effective Hamiltonian
- current: flavor changing
- selection rule: flavor
- quantum chromodynamics: correction
- top: mass
- mass: top
- W: mass
- mass: W
